We began in October 2023, as Parwana Theatre, with the production of our play — The End.
Developed over a period of 6 months, the play opened to back-to-back houseful shows and a warm response, in Mumbai.
Over the next few months, it travelled to prestigious venues all over the country.
Through the course of this journey, Parwana grew into a collective of driven young artists eager to create more work.
Eventually, we spread our wings wider and marked the beginning of Parwana Productions in December 2024.
Since then, we’ve been working in parallel across stage and screen, while also expanding into formats like podcasts, social impact projects,
commissioned and independent workshops, and much more. In 2026 — our next play will go on floors,
two new play scripts will be ready for production, work will begin on our first short film, and
we’ll be developing theatre and film projects for partners, including universities and NGOs.
